Main Responsibility:

In charge and manage Plastics related business and current accounts under plastics segment.

Helping business development to bring in new supplier and acquire new accounts

Key activities:

(a) Sales

· Maintain and continue to build existing business

  • Explore opportunities for new suppliers (new principals and new subsidiaries)
  • Helping business development to create new account in Singapore
  • Conduct market research to know more about the market trend

(b) Customer Management

  • Works closely with customers on new requirements
  • Establishes and maintains working relationships with customers.
  • Attend to customers quality issues promptly
  • Negotiate with supplier i.e HQ and other suppliers and customer to ensure product sales profitability for Singapore

(c) Intercompany Business Management

  • Coordinate with HQ and subsidiary to meet customers’ requirements
  • Establish communication channel/network for new suppliers, HQ, Singapore office and customers
  • Coordinate with equipment manufacturer to arrange for trial, design of experiment requested by customer


  • Candidate must have fluent Japanese language proficiency to liaise with Japanese speaking clients and suppliers as well as stakeholders
  • Candidate must have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in chemical related industry
  • Candidate with experience working in a diverse culture environment will have a distinct advantage
  • Candidate will be required to work independently under minimal supervision and a team player
  • Candidate with excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and IT skills will have a distinct advantage
  • Candidate will be required to travel overseas for work purpose occasionally
