The Senior Account Director is a recognised and respected leader within MullenLowe and across all clients within a portfolio. The SAD is a team leader and talent developer - both within the direct client team and across the agency. A person who consistently demonstrates the values and qualities of an authentic leader.

Skills & Requirements

Commercial Leadership & Development:

· Have an excellent knowledge of digital platforms and solutions enabling our clients to execute effective digital campaigns as well as develop digital platforms to support business objectives.

· Establish excellent relationships with senior clients, helping them to understand the value of digital. Help grow its role in their marketing programmes and customer relationships, as well as growing their partnership with MullenLowe through a detailed understanding of the client business challenges, business objectives, and the wider market.

· Through your continual personal development, expanding your marketing intelligence and understanding of consumers in the digital age, act with an entrepreneurial spirit, proactively proposing and converting ideas for your client’s marketing and/or business, including powerful insights and understanding to deliver the most effective digital communications, cross-selling MullenLowe services as appropriate.

· Manage your clients and team to establish systems and processes to ensure an effective partnership: an annual client business plan; annual forecasts and monthly updates; resource requirements; timesheets

· Set up and lead pitches for business development and expansion of digital portfolio

Team Leadership:

· Provide clear role and responsibility definitions for each member of your team, having delegated tasks appropriately

· Develop and manage the skills and knowledge of your team through mentoring, supervision and providing continual feedback on performance, managing under- and over-performance appropriately

· Mentor junior and mid-level staff to take initiatives and grow them into leaders

Professional Expectations:

· Be on time for, and professional in, everything you do, be that meeting a client; delivering to timescales; actively participating, using the right tone; or protecting the client’s information/IP or MullenLowe’s.

· Be an excellent communicator and presenter in all forms (in-person, email, over the phone)

· Complete Timesheets and Management Team status documentation in a timely manner

· Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture, and generally be a role model for the junior members of the team
