The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

The Energy Research Institute at NTU ([email protected]) focuses on the areas of sustainable energy, energy efficiency and infrastructures, as well as on the related socio-economic aspects. Considerable expertise in these areas exists within NTU’s research centers and schools. [email protected] provides a unique platform, where a host of issues including energy generation, storage, distribution, efficiency, along with their environmental impact can be studied and solutions proposed in close collaboration with both private and public sector partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation, maintenance and diagnostic of the thermal evaporator and other simple laboratory instruments used.
• Supervise undergraduate students
• Development of the perovskite evaporation process
• Formulate advanced laboratory methods for fabrication
• Analysis and testing of solar cells
• Modelling of Solar cells performances.
• Responsible for the perovskite evaporation and interlayers systems
• Collaborate with the Solar Research Team

Job Requirements:

• Possess PhD in material science engineering/Physics or related disciplines.
• Experience in advanced laboratory techniques such as thermal evaporation
• Experience in advanced laboratory methods for fabrication and analysis of solar cells.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork awareness.
• Good communication and writing in English.
