The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) looking for a highly motivated Research Fellow with expertise in Chemistry and Materials Science.

The Research Fellow will pioneer novel synthesis and deposition of multi metal oxides/sulfides for transparent conductors; perform high throughput chemical synthesis and characterization of multinary metal oxides; as well as fabrication of proof of concept solar cell/photoelectrocatalyst cells using the p-type TCO.

Key Responsibilities:

• To do high throughput chemical synthesis and characterization of multi metal oxides/sulfides
• To fabricate of proof of concept solar cell using the p-type TCO
• To guide/supervise more junior research staffs and/or graduate/undergraduate students
• To write and publish scientific papers and technology disclosure

Job Requirements:

• PhD in materials science/chemistry/physics or other Science and Engineering (or equivalent) from reputable institutes
• Relevant experience and strong publication track record in inorganic chemistry, high throughput synthesis, characterizations and machine learning will be considered very favourably
• Strong publication records in relevant areas will be considered favorably
