  • Regional exposure in SEA or APAC countries
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer service including repair of Tools and drive customer engagement and contribute towards business growth
  • Regional headquarters team oversees technical aspects of repair process in country organizations of the region ( comprising of 9 market organizations Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam)
  • Ensure technicians on the workbench follow right repair processes and SOP’s ( Called Repair Standards) in repairing tools. In addition, contribute towards improvement of Repair Standards with Global AfterMarket Services team
  • Responsible for upgrade / modernization of service centers as required
  • Accountable for quality of repairs ( metric : Repair warranty , mean time between failures ) , cost of repairs and efficiency of technicians in repair process
  • Implementation of the repair modifications in the service area in coordination with local and regional teams
  • Coordinate the repair phase-in and phase-out within the local and regional tool service centers
  • Ensure maintenance equipment plan for all Tool service Centers in the region according to global standards
  • Qualify and consolidate feedback from local tool service centers to the region
  • Collect and provide regional input for design to service and throughout the service life cycle
  • Establish strong collaboration within the local Service Area leadership & Regional team to build a community of high performing global team
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical / Production / Electrical
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in after sale services in engineering / automotive industry
  • Operational experience in a repetitive production environment like Automotive
  • Ability to lead teams and influence without direct authority
  • Analytical skills and change management skills
  • Strong team player and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work and perform in a matrix organization
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
