An International Water Technology company is expanding and looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager who has been covering the Institutional and Commercial markets to be part of their main sales team in Singapore. To be responsible for the development and management of the Institutional and Commercial market segments (cooling water systems in data centers, commercial facilities, district energy, etc) water/wastewater treatment markets for the company’s product line.

Responsibilities of Regional Data Centre & Institutional Sales Manager (Water/Wastewater)

- Must be able to handle the end to end sales process with clients, throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, the final selection process, the closing, and delivery of the order along with after sales management.
- Be able to provide technical and commercial direction for proposals, price quotations and presentation of bids, proposals to Clients (power, data centers, data center vendors) Channel Partner Prospects, Consultants, EPC’s and General Contractors.
- Pro-actively work on maintaining the sales objectives as the product or service is technically complex, requiring specialized application knowledge and custom pricing.
- Tracks the status of projects, including the update of the Company’s sales database software preparing spreadsheets and reports that track monthly business activities, and project status.
- Carry out site meetings whenever necessary.
- Actively develops and implements plans to increase the market share of assigned products or market through communications with end-users such as Project Owners, Design Institute, Consultants and Engineering firms (EPC’s), Contractors and other commercial/industrial companies, including water treatment service companies, and/or distributors or representatives who are active in the target market, through direct selling, and utilizing external channel partners’ networks
- Seeks out and researches prospective projects and opportunities directly or through sales channels and, when necessary recommend the development of new and alternative sales channels.

Requirements of Regional Commercial & Institutional Sales Manager (Water/Wastewater)

- Holds a relevant University degree (Business, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc) along with a good knowledge of water treatment in C&I market and established relationships with key decision makers.
- Proven successful Sales track record with Sales experience within the Commercial & Institutional market segments such as cooling water treatment system and experience selling products to data centers.
- Holds experience in providing and carrying out relevant trade associations, trade conferences, equipment seminars, and training activities.
- Someone who holds proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Experience in electrochemical disinfection process is desirable.
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time, post-COVID.
