THE CHALLENGE

Gearing up for the next growth stage, Janio is looking for a Recruitment Specialist.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms) for active recruitment as well as to pipeline candidates for future hiring
  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
  • Prepare and distribute assessments and technical, numerical, language and logical reasoning tests, where applicable
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to HR Partners and hiring managers
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Monitor key HR metric, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
  • Collaborate with HR Team and managers to identify future hiring needs
  • Provides advice on ways to improve recruiting procedures
  • Develops and maintains relationships with individuals in the industry for the purposes of future hiring
  • Collect, compile, and analyse HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to HR practices and initiatives
  • Organise and facilitate the company’s onboarding journey for new hires

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Exhibits proficiency in use of career websites
  • Possesses excellent phone etiquette
  • Demonstrates strong writing skills
  • Maintains professional but outgoing and confident demeanor
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Possesses strong persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and able to engage people of all levels, both externally and internally
  • Independent, meticulous, and resourceful
  • Passionate about recruitment, people, and culture
  • Prior work experience in a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment would be a plus
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders
