THE CHALLENGE
Gearing up for the next growth stage, Janio is looking for a Recruitment Specialist.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms) for active recruitment as well as to pipeline candidates for future hiring
- Design and update job descriptions
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
- Prepare and distribute assessments and technical, numerical, language and logical reasoning tests, where applicable
- Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to HR Partners and hiring managers
- Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
- Monitor key HR metric, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
- Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
- Collaborate with HR Team and managers to identify future hiring needs
- Provides advice on ways to improve recruiting procedures
- Develops and maintains relationships with individuals in the industry for the purposes of future hiring
- Collect, compile, and analyse HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to HR practices and initiatives
- Organise and facilitate the company’s onboarding journey for new hires
THE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Exhibits proficiency in use of career websites
- Possesses excellent phone etiquette
- Demonstrates strong writing skills
- Maintains professional but outgoing and confident demeanor
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Possesses strong persuasive and negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills and able to engage people of all levels, both externally and internally
- Independent, meticulous, and resourceful
- Passionate about recruitment, people, and culture
- Prior work experience in a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment would be a plus
- Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders
