Responsibilities:
  • Purchase for direct/ indirect materials and setup contractual agreements with contractors.
  • Pilot the purchasing process: requisition, negotiation, PO and goods receipt.
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors or freight forwarders.
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Coordinate with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and quality to identify or qualify new suppliers.
  • Work closely with logistics and production in order to liaise with external warehouse.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with external warehouse and freight forwarder agents to facilitate the smooth flow of services (including daily stream and inventory).
  • Develop and negotiate material costs forecasts and supply to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Ensure effective line of communication between supply chain and operations through meetings and especially coordinate the production planning and the customer PO to secure stock level and customer deliveries.
  • Coordinate customer service activities to effectively serve the customers and maintain a high satisfaction.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in any field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and supply chain
  • Experienced in manufacturing industry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in SAP (MM/PP/SD/WM)
  • Hands-on experience in both purchasing and supply chain
  • Ability to supervise a team of 5-8 person
