A Research Assistant position is available in the Laboratory of Prof James Tam at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University.

Job Responsibilities

High-throughput assay screening and analysis
Protein extraction from native or recombinant sources
Enzyme characterization and applications in biotechnology
Prepare scientific manuscripts for research publication
Prepare annual reports and documentations for research programs
Create, design and modify websites that suits the laboratory

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, Chemical Biology, or related fields
Prior bioscience laboratory experience is an added advant
Ability to work independently and as a team, hardworking and self-motivated
Prior experience in scientific writing and manuscript preparation is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications‎
