Procurement Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for sourcing, selection, and negotiation with suppliers to strive for the best price while maintaining the highest quality, reliability and service (Mechanical parts)

• Monitor the performance of the suppliers and quality of supplied products with multifunctional members.

• Compare & evaluate the quotation from suppliers/vendors and establish contract terms of agreement & pricing with them when needs arise.

• Manages and drives Supplier meeting drawing specs and work on alternate materials

• Maintain working relationship with suppliers and work closely on issues from suppliers

Skill Requirements

• Good skill in reading mechanical drawing specs and secondary process

• Knowledgeable in requirement of sheet metal and machining process

• Negotiations skill to acquire best pricing and estimate price when need arise

• Engineering background is added advantage

• 5 years’ experience in sourcing sheet metal and machining part
