Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Taking the conceptual design through to implementation and handover;
Progressing all elements of design in-line with the Design Checklist
Preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, data sheets and functional descriptions.
Pressure loss calculations, equipment sizing, utility, heat and mass balances
Process capacity calculations from customer URS
Participate in design reviews – with customer and internal Exyte team
Production of tender specifications and bid evaluation
Defining and agreeing system Sequences of Operation and checking the Controls Engineering design for compliance with requirements;
Ensuring the System Supervisor is provided with the current shop and space management drawings, specifications, approved technical submittals and all approved changes in scope;
Ensuring the System Supervisor is fully briefed on the awarded scope of work, the tender technical documents and all contractual revisions to tender documentation;
Ensuring all interfaces are provided in the correct location, with agreed dimensional requirements and in compliance with specification;
Evaluating technical submittals for specifications and client requirement compliance;

Requirements:

Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience in design of process systems or Clean Utility Systems
