Provide quality service as part of the Operations Support team to our customers, assisting with processing and handling their claims for shortage, quality, detention etc. You can be a part of the friendly Sims family if you are looking for a family like culture, where we work and play hard together. What you’ll be doing:

  • Register and review supporting documents of incoming claims
  • Partner Traders and Yards/Regions to ensure timely agreement to a claim settlement
  • Process Debit & Credit note claims settlements for both customers and Yards/Regions
  • Keep customers updated on claim status, payment schedule and other pertinent information
  • Maintain Claims database and prepare reports
  • Work with Accounting ensure settlement of claims
  • Printing and managing of Original Bill of Lading

Minimum requirements:

  • Higher Nitech or Equivalent
  • 2 years of working experience

  • Good organizational and inter-personal skills
  • Well-organized, meticulous with data, independent and detailed oriented
