Job Description

SUTD Academy is the professional and continuing education arm of SUTD. We started up with a strong belief in lifelong education that goes beyond formal learning and that is self-driven, self-planned and self-initiated. Our courses are designed to develop the skills and knowledge of individuals to help them stay relevant in the knowledge-intensive and technology-driven economy, overcome the numerous challenges of tomorrow and excel in their career.

The advent of rapid digitalisation and the impact of COVID-19 have greatly influenced and transformed the way we work and learn today.

We are looking for a team member with a passion in lifelong learning and technology to be part of our team to support the operations and management of course delivery.

Your success will help our prospective learners enjoy and stay engaged with the learning experience at SUTD Academy.

The job scope is as follows:

a. Programme Operations

  • Provide administrative service and support to prospective learners from enquiries, onboarding to completion of their learning journey with SUTD Academy.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal support teams and external vendors to provide administrative and logistics support to SUTD Academy fellows with the goal of ensuring a smooth setup and delivery of all courses which will enhance both trainers’ teaching and learners’ learning experience.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with SUTD Academy fellows on their scheduling for the delivery of courses and programmes.
  • Manage and ensure that teaching aids, training materials and IT assets are available and in their best condition.
  • Administer registration site and ensure timely update on course pages.
  • Work with relevant agencies to ensure timely reporting.

b. Finance Administration

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure good finance and procurement practices.
  • Track and ensure timely collection and payment.

c. Strategy and Planning

  • Work with SUTD Academy team to develop strategies and plans for enhancing the participants’ journey with SUTD Academy.
  • Strive for continuous improvement to enhance productivity in the work flow and processes.

And you should have:

  • At least a Diploma.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations, customer service and basic finance work.
  • Good communication skills (written and presentation) as well as interpersonal skill
