We are a highly regulated industry, operate in a complex eco-system of commercial partners within the airport community, and constantly deal with different government agencies and Ministries. CAG owns and manages all of the Changi Airport lands and retail spaces. We are currently growing our digital e-commerce business actively beyond what it currently is today as we see plenty of untapped opportunities and to grow CAG’s business beyond the usual brick and mortar. Job Description
1. The aim of this role is to provide the full range of commercial legal support to our fast paced, growing digital business, on a local and in the near future, global basis.

2. Responsibilities will include:
• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, from standard tenancy and provision of goods and services agreements to complex multi-product, multi-jurisdictional licensing arrangements and full service platform agreements;
• Providing legal and regulatory advice associated with online payments, interbank money transfers and settlements, credit & debit card fund settlements, foreign exchange, money remittance, e-money/stored value, digital wallets, payment gateways, holding and reuse of balances, merchant acquiring, bank withdrawals and Automated Clearing House & payments processing;
• Providing legal and compliance advice associated with payments licensing, payments regulations, anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, outsourcing, data protection, privacy, consumer protection, and information security;
• Dealing and negotiating with financial services regulators including the Monetary Authority of Singapore;
• Engaging in regulatory advocacy, drafting and advising on correspondence, submissions and communications with regulators;
• Advising on legal and regulatory issues associated with sales, marketing, communications, market entry, product and services development; and
• Monitoring ongoing legislation and regulatory changes.

Qualifications
Candidates should have :
• a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience and be from an established in-house legal team or established private practice law firm with international legal and regulatory experience;
• Excellent drafting skills, including an ability to write clearly and concisely using a tone of voice suitable for non-legal stakeholders;
• Significant experience of negotiating complex and multi-faceted contracts within the technology and digital industries; and
• A collaborative approach, positive attitude, curious mind and willingness to learn as well as a willingness to simplify our contracting processes and templates.
