Instrumentation & Control Executive / Senior Engineer (District Cooling Operations)

What You’ll Do:

Perform design tasks for instrumentation and control for District Cooling System.
Prepare and review IO List, Instrument List, Technical Specification for Instrumentation, Control Valves, Analyzers and Control System.
Participate in development of designing of control system architecture, control philosophy, P&ID, logic diagrams
Review single line diagram, control schematic drawings, cable schedule
Review and evaluate technical submission from vendor related to Instrumentation and control system project.
Supervise Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test
Support testing & commissioning and troubleshooting in any district cooling plant and/or in industrial / commercial building cooling plant.
Review method statement for installation of instrumentation
Interface with other discipline, client, and vendors

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
More than 5 years of experience as project engineer or field & application engineer in chiller or instrumentation and control company
Ability to work independently on the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for instrumentation and control. especially for new and existing developments including district cooling plant, centralised cooling system and remote off-take station.”
Knowledge of Cooling Systems will be added advantage
Knowledgeable in instrumentation and control
Knowledgeable in fieldbus protocols (such as OPC, Profibus, ProfiNet, Modbus, HART, BacNet)
Experience in HMI/SCADA/PLC configuration and design
Knowledgeable in Distributed Control System and Programmable Logic Control systems, familiar with programming in accordance to IEC61131-3
General knowledge in evaluating construction shop drawings.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
