Job content

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Supervise the collection of soil and rock samples according to sampling schedule for laboratory testing

· Conduct in-situ testes (PMT, VST, PBT, PKT etc) according to testing schedule

· Supervise the recording of log soil and rock information during borehole drilling

· Record, interpret and analyse collected information

· Prepare reports from fieldwork eg. borelogs and daily journals

· Project planning and coordination for soil investigation works

· Monitor and ensure good environmental, health and housekeeping on site

· Conduct risk analysis of jobs involved and ensure compliance to safe work procedures

· Ensure day-to-day site operations are carried out as per project and safety requirements

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

· Diploma in Civil Engineering or Geology discipline

· Min. 2 years of experience, entry level may be considered

· Possess certification course for site investigation supervisors (BCA) is an advantage

· On-the-job training provided

· Good attitude and communication skills
