Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and co-ordinate the operations of a business, division, department, or operating unit.
  • Provide leadership at all levels of the organization.
  • Apply strategic planning to determine company, department, or unit objectives and oversee day-to-day business operations.
  • Communicate and embody the company vision and values.
  • Evaluate current business processes and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.
  • Responsible for the achievement of department/division/unit productivity and quality goals.
  • Assess departmental and company performance and devise plans for improvement.
  • Manage profit and loss statements and account for costs and revenues.
  • Set employee goals and objectives and manage staff for optimum performance.
  • Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy.
  • Negotiation for opportunities and mediation skills to resolve conflicts.
  • Build up the company by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and mentoring new talent.
  • Define and implement policies and performance standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide additional coaching and support as needed.
  • Allocate budget resources for supplies, equipment, marketing, and personnel.


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of top management experience from Semiconductor or Manufacturing background including setting up new business units within the company.
  • Track records in driving company’s growth plans.
  • Processes strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) knowledge and able to formulate new viable initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
  • Focus, self-motivated, positive, and able to deliver tangible outcomes to meet the organisation’s goals.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills to chart the growth vision and direction, build alignment and champion relevant execution.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders, effectively mentor and coach employees.
  • Able to cultivate positive working relationships with people to achieve business goals through strong interpersonal skills and high EQ.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing high-performance cultures through thought leadership
  • Knowledge of strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of economic, accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
