Primary Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager, Facilities Management will support strategic initiatives relating to Guild House expansion and manage the general upkeep of all Guild Houses including implementing preventive maintenance programs, cost control programs and productivity projects, and administering lease/contract renewals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and manage development of new facility or renovations of all facilities within the Guild Houses
  • Manage all maintenance, housekeeping and security activities, and sub-contractors
  • Evaluate and update all mechanical specifications and operational manuals on a regular basis
  • Administer the leases of all the Guild Houses and maintenance contracts to ensure timely renewals or terminations
  • Ensure full compliance to legal and corporate regulations of safety and security including fire safety regulations
  • Plan and co-ordinate fire-fighting and emergency situations in the premises
  • Drive the Workplace Safety and Health Committee to comply with MOM requirements
  • Plan and manage the annual budget to ensure cost effectiveness in all initiatives and programs
  • Support Management Committee, Sub-committee(s), Panel(s) and or Task Force(s) as may be assigned.
  • Requirements

  • At least a Diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Possess a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Certificate
  • Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills
  • A team player with excellent leadership, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
