Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Flight Operations Ground Training

The successful candidate will be part of the Flight Operations Training & Safety department. He/She will be responsible to develop and implement effective training programmes by providing instructions on airplane technical systems, operations, performance and weight-and-balance to SIA pilots & customer airlines attending the Type Technical Course.

• Planning of training course time-table for conversion and reactivation courses.

• Monitor and track the performance and progress of pilots attending training courses.

• Administer and conduct the Type Technical Examinations that are approved by CAAS. This involves the curation and revision of the question papers.

• Oversee and maintain current training aids and implement new training aids or upgrades.

• Provide answers to queries on airplane systems and operations posed by Line Pilots & fleet Chief Pilots.

• Supporting fleet Chief Pilots in executing training for new equipment incorporated in our airlines.

• Assist in recruitment of cadet pilots by conducting interviews and tests as prescribed.

• Any other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Safety & Ground Training.

Requirements

• An ATPL holder or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with aviation experience.

• At least 2 years of aviation/instructional experience.

• Excellent oral and written communication.

• Good stakeholder management & interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
