The Assistant Manager, Student Administration is to lead the MSO team in Research-PG office to provide high-quality administrative support in postgraduate programme management and to support the strategic development of postgraduate programmes for the School.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and provide administrative support in postgraduate research programmes,
  • Strategic planning and developments of the unit
  • Planning and implementation of technologies to enhance unit operational efficiency
  • Analytics to support the strategic planning of future postgraduate programme directions
  • Provide the documents to OA, CoE, and various departments
  • Manage outstanding issues and appeal cases
  • Support faculty
  • Supervise 2 MSO


  • Degree in any discipline
  • Candidates who have held administrative positions in a central office within a large organization would be preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • MS Office expertise
  • Good attitude, communication, management and people relational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with staff and faculty at all levels
  • Meticulous with an eye for details
  • Analytical and ability to perform statistical analysis
  • Responsible, resourceful and self-motivated to resolve issues on a timely manner
  • Be creative and develop new ideas to improve the current administrative process
  • Able to display initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
