Job Description

Assistant managers are in charge of ensuring everything in the store is running as it should be. Assistants typically recruit, interview and train new staff members. They deal with comments, questions or complaints from their employees or customers while consistently monitoring customer service. Although a superior usually oversees this, assistants may be responsible for meeting monthly targets established for product budgets and labor costs.

  • Meet the store’s monthly targets and handle budgets.
  • Recruit and train staff.
  • Deal with any enquiries and complaints and monitor customer service.
  • Serve customers as needed.
  • Put together the rotas and shifts.
  • Check that the products you sell are well displayed.
  • Managing deliveries.
  • Must be a Degree Holder of any 4 year course.
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
